We’ll be participating in two big events soon: TYPO3 Conference and BADCamp – Bay Area Drupal Camp. You can also catch DDEV training live online, as well as at BADCamp.
“Getting off the island” has been a common theme the Drupal community and part of the “Age of Interoperability” we’ve seen in the last few years in the broader PHP community. Learning from other communities, adopting standard practices and components, and sharing knowledge all lead to better projects and applications for everyone involved. This resonates with us at DRUD Tech because one of our goals is to make it easier for developers to work with multiple CMSs, using a single local dev tool and command set for all of them: DDEV-Local. We hope we’re doing our part to build bridges in the process, for example, we spent time with TYPO3 contributors and WordPress devs at Drupal Europe recently.
Demos, demos, demos! Stop by our booth and say hi, we’ll be glad to give you a demo or two. We can show you around DDEV-Local and if you’ve got a project coming up, let’s talk about hosting it on our container-based hosting platform, DDEV-Live.
Apply for free hosting! If you’re hosting an open source community event or have an open source project, we’d like to talk with you about sponsoring you with free hosting on our platform. Our team, our tools, and our clients are all part of the world of open source. We’re proud of our contributions and grateful for those making a difference through contributions of every kind. Get in touch or come find us in person somewhere soon!
Did you know we also provide DevOps consulting? We can help you design and implement a fast, stable, reliable, consistent, and secure flow of work from biz-to-dev-to-deploy that helps your teams focus on solving higher-value problems and on your core business. Ask us how we can help you connect the dots between your workflow and process for your team.

This free event is held each year at the University of California, Berkeley. As part of four days of talks and training, they also hold day-long summits to bring people together to dive deep into a topic and collaborate.
We’re looking forward to participating in the DevOps Summit. We can talk about the toolchains, processes, and optimizing your development workflow. The BADCamp organizers recommend: “Anyone who is looking to work with happier development teams while saving time and money should attend.”
Registration is free, but fills up quickly!

The 13th annual TYPO3 Conference is in Berlin, Germany this year. There will be talks in two tracks over two days. On Day 2 I’ll be talking about using tooling and processes to focus on your core business and Turbocharge your Agency, alongside Jeffrey A. “jam” McGuire of Open Strategy Partners.
